It all started with a brown, chunky Fishers Price tape recorder in 1985. Jen would settle in with anyone she could and start picking their brains after hitting record. Even as a tiny kid she was fascinated with capturing and writing people’s stories and expertise. By elementary school, she was winning awards for the words she wrote (and quickly wearing out the cassette recorder). Jen honed her research and writing skills as an undergrad journalism student at Indiana University and went on to start her own marketing and content company, DropLeaf Communications after grad school. She's been a copywriter and marketing professional for over 20 years now, working with companies around the world. From bathroom signage to books, Jen’s written it all. She regularly develops brand messaging, print collateral and digital content for her clients, as well as ghostwritten blogs and books for brands big and small. When she doesn’t have her nose in a book or isn’t frantically typing away on her laptop, Jen can be found playing mama to three wild and wonderful humans in the Indianapolis area.
